Withdrawing Tokens

Convert your ERC6909 claims into standard ERC20 tokens that appear in your wallet and on block explorers.

What Withdrawal Does

When you buy tokens through Prismata, they're stored as ERC6909 claims in Uniswap V4's PoolManager. Withdrawal converts these claims into standard ERC20 tokens.

How to Withdraw

1
Go to Trading → Withdraw
Navigate to the trading page and select the Withdraw tab. You'll see a list of your current holdings.
2
Select Tokens
Choose which tokens you want to withdraw. You can select one, several, or all of them. By default, withdrawal takes your full balance of each selected token.
3
Review & Confirm
Check the preview showing which tokens and amounts will be withdrawn. Click Execute and sign the transaction.
4
Tokens in Your Wallet
Once confirmed, ERC20 tokens are minted to your wallet. Add them to MetaMask using the token contract address if they don't auto-detect.
💡 Gas Cost
Withdrawal costs gas (ETH). The cost depends on how many tokens you're withdrawing. Batching multiple tokens in one withdrawal is more efficient than withdrawing one at a time.

When to Withdraw

You don't need to withdraw. Your tokens are perfectly safe as ERC6909 claims. But you might want to withdraw if you:

When Not to Withdraw

If you're just holding or plan to sell back through Prismata, there's no need to withdraw. Keeping tokens as ERC6909 claims means:

✓ No Rush
Your ERC6909 claims don't expire. They're recorded on-chain and owned by your wallet. You can withdraw anytime — now, next week, or never. There's no deadline.

After Withdrawal

Once withdrawn, your tokens are standard ERC20s. You can:

The tokens are no longer in Prismata's scope. They're just normal tokens in your wallet.

Adding Tokens to MetaMask

After withdrawal, MetaMask might not automatically show your tokens. To add them manually:

You can find the contract address in your Prismata Dashboard or on Etherscan from the withdrawal transaction.
