Quick Answers
I bought tokens but they're not in my wallet. Where are they?
+
Your tokens are on-chain as ERC6909 claims in Uniswap's
PoolManager contract. They won't appear in MetaMask or on
Etherscan's token page because those tools only track ERC20
tokens. View your holdings in the Prismata Dashboard. You can
withdraw anytime to convert them to regular ERC20 tokens.
Is Prismata holding my funds?
+
No. Prismata is completely non-custodial. Your tokens are stored
on-chain in Uniswap V4's PoolManager contract, recorded against
your wallet address. Prismata is just an interface — we never
have access to your funds.
What is ERC6909?
+
ERC6909 is a newer token standard that allows multiple token
types in a single contract. It's more gas-efficient than ERC20
for batch operations. The tradeoff is that most wallets and
explorers don't display ERC6909 balances yet. Your tokens are
just as real and just as yours — they're just stored
differently.
How do I get tokens into my wallet?
+
Use the Withdraw function. This converts your ERC6909 claims
into standard ERC20 tokens that will appear in your wallet and
on Etherscan. You can withdraw individual tokens or multiple at
once.
Why use ERC6909 instead of regular tokens?
+
Gas savings. Buying a bundle of 5 tokens as ERC6909 claims is
significantly cheaper than 5 separate ERC20 transfers. Selling
multiple tokens in one transaction is also much more efficient.
The tradeoff is visibility — but your tokens are always yours
and always withdrawable.
Are my tokens safe?
+
Your tokens are stored in Uniswap V4's PoolManager contract —
the same infrastructure that secures billions in liquidity.
Prismata is just a frontend interface. We can't access, move, or
freeze your funds. Only your wallet can control your tokens.
